Rainbow Snippets is a group for LGBTQ+ authors, readers, and bloggers to gather once a week to share six sentences from a work of fiction–a WIP or a finished work or even a 6-sentence book recommendation (snippets are 6 sentences long–one for each colour in the Pride flag). You can find all the snippets by clicking here.
My snippet this week is from Still Waters (Sanctuary #4).

Adam stared blankly out through the window. Somewhere on this floor was the one person who had managed to get under his skin; who had managed to wring from him emotions Adam hadn’t even know he had. The same man who listened to lies and believed them and didn’t even give Adam the benefit of the doubt, or any trust at all. Hate rose inside Adam. Shit. He thought he had gotten past feeling disappointed by Lee.

The Book – OUT NOW
Adam is given an assignment – to work with a man he hates. The same man that didn’t trust him two years before and destroyed their relationship in a single day.
Lee is adamant that he needs to understand why Adam betrayed the Bureau and the Bullen case is the perfect cover to get back in his ex lover’s life.
Against the backdrop of Sanctuary and the Bullen case can they both realise not everything they saw was real…
