Way back in 2009 (Just around New Year and into 2010) I wrote a short story called Ascension, and it was accepted by DSP into their anthology, A Brush Of Wings.
It was based on the fact an angel actually ascends to become human, and it wasn't a long story. When the rights reverted to me, I decided to extend the story, explore the dynamics of the book shop, and the reason an angel may look for love. The story became Angel in a Book Shop, and was released Christmas 2014.
Thing is, it was never put to print, so I had this idea of putting it along with Jesse's Christmas (2011, extended 2013) and Deefur and the Mistletoe Incident – ( a free short story Christmas gift from 2013) and make sure it went to print. I also decided to release it as an e-book, where the whole bundled collection could be priced well.
I hope you enjoy the collection!
Angel in a bookshop
What happens when a broken man has to trust in the impossible?
Jesse Connor, Christmas is nothing but a series of bad memories. It
takes a man imbued with the spirit of Christmas to help him realize that
the Christmas spirit lies in everyone. If they only know where to look.
Deefur and the Mistletoe Incident
The story of how Deefur, after the great mistletoe incident, ends up with the best bed in the house.
