I only have a few books that feature amnesia. In one, the memories begin to filter back, in an other, it's slow progress and never really resolves itself properly. I love this trope because you can have it heartbreaking as well as amusing in places. It can also be the scariest kind of storyline for a character who can be confused and terrified by a world they don't recall.
