2019 was the year of the Single Dads series, and the loss of the first two months to mental health difficulties. It was also the year of hockey romance and the final ever Montana book.
Books included: Hat Trick, Première Saison, La vampa del Texas (Texas Heat), Scott, Cambio di linea (Harrisburg Railers Vol. 1), Montana Sky, Un Ranch pour un Cow-boy, Il Pompiere E Il Poliziotto, Hockey Collection, Quanto per tutta la notte?, Benoit, Single, Spirale Infernale, Save the Date, La Famiglia del Texas, Der Sohn des Cowboys, What Lies Beneath, Neige au Montana, Romance Collection, Un principe a Natale, Kaden, Today, Single (Versione italiana), Coast To Coast, Prima stagione (Harrisburg Railers Vol. 2), Célibataire, Texas 5 – Il Natale del Texas, Montana 3 – Das Zuhause eines Cowboys, Across the Pond, Promise, Der Bodyguard und der Prinz, Christmas Lights – An Owatonna Christmas Novella, Collection de Noël (French Christmas Collection), Raccolta di Natale (Italian Christmas Collection), Dallas Christmas, Der Bodyguard und der Sänger, Force of nature anthology, Head, Heart, & Family: A Railers Hockey Novella Collection
Single, book 1 in the Single Dads series was written as a way of restarting my engine (so to speak) – an idea that sprung completely from one picture I found of a man cradling a newborn baby. Very quickly I had books 2 and 3 out, along with various hockey romances (finishing Railers with the second and third novella, and starting Owatonna), plus the second book in mine and Meredith’s Boyfriend for Hire books.
I came up to Christmas with trepidation, but the low Christmas from the year before didn’t happen quite as badly, so I took that as a win.
I wrote What Lies Beneath for DSP – luckily I managed to get that back and away from them in March when they began to implode and I released book 1 in the summer – I’m writing book 3 for release in June, and I’m wonderfully excited and also horribly nervous!

I love a good murder mystery on the television! Things like Midsomer Murders are huge in the UK. Do you like Murder/mystery stories? If so what is your favorite series?

I tend to be kind of a lightweight (the murder mystery episode of THE MUPPET SHOW upset me horribly as a child, for heaven’s sake!)…I like the lighter episodes of PSYCH and MONK, for instance, but when they got darker near the end of their runs I didn’t enjoy them as much. My mom still loves MURDER, SHE WROTE, but I managed to tune in at the disturbing moments when I was little and so I still don’t find it relaxing (!) like she does. She’s gotten me into ROSEMARY AND THYME a bit, which is fun as long as it’s not too grisly. The murder mystery episode of THE GOLDEN GIRLS is about my speed, too…
Trix says
Oh, the early MOONLIGHTING episodes are fun too (even if the actual mysteries tend to be featherweight plot-wise)…
