Life can change in an instant, but with found family and forever love, hope is never lost.

Adam didn’t think twice before risking his life to save a child from a car wreck—but the injuries he sustained cost him his career and left him battling chronic pain. At his lowest, it was his friends and family who refused to let him give up, reminding him that even when dreams shatter, hope remains. When Cameron and his son, Finn, arrive at his doorstep, Adam never expects to fall for the small family—or to find a new purpose that just might make him a hero again.

Cameron’s world crumbles overnight, transforming him from a devoted husband to a single dad. With his carefully built future in ruins, he’ll do whatever it takes to give his son a fresh start—even if it means moving across the country. Renting a room from Adam is only supposed to be temporary, a step toward rebuilding. Falling for the former firefighter? That was never part of the plan.

But when the past comes calling, threatening Cameron’s fragile new beginning, will he have to face it alone? Or will Adam and Finn show him that love, family, and hope will always be worth fighting for?

I assume this is where I can enter your contest. I have so many books to read and so I want to get through most of them in 2020. That is what I llook forward to in 2020. In 2019 a highlight was to meet you in Toronto. Now, I need to read about Adam and the child who brought him to romance.

Do you have one particular thing that you are looking forward to this year? or a highlight from 2019?

I do. I’m looking forward to publishing my first for-real book. I’ve done a few shorts in the past but nothing overly serious. This one is 94k worth of all my love and passion and I’ve got my fingers crossed someone will love it as much as I loved writing it. Editing, cover work, and all that jazz is in store for me this year.

Highlight of 2019? Can I have two?

    1. Finishing writing that book right before the end of the year!
    2. My NAHL team winning the last game of the year, an away game we had the pleasure of going to see. <3

I set myself a goal to bake/cook a recipe a week (possibly every 2 weeks, depending) from her cookbooks/recipe cards and I am really looking forward to maybe learn a bit more about my Nana and what she would have made many years ago right up until she really stopped cooking in the early 2000s. I plan to blog them on my FB page and hopefully learn a bit more about cooking while I am at it.
