I think I’ve got most of your books. I just thought – maybe I’d like one in German because this year I haven’t been able to keep up with any of my languages… However, I have made a New Year’s Resolution to stop acquiring books, even free ones, till my tbr pile (physical and digital) reaches saner proportions. This probably applies to your February release too, though I’ll be sure to add it to my list for when the moratorium is lifted! Anyway, it means I’m not in the least cross about the delay – in fact rather relieved!
I would love a copy of Love Happens Anyway because the snowman is absolutely adorable! Not that I’d mind looking at any of your covers… Have a peaceful New Year’s Eve. I can’t wait to connect more in 2021!
I get my books through Amazon, although I do NOT use KU. My TBR just on my Kindle is over 1k of books. I’m still acquiring books, but I’m being more selective in the ARCs I request until I get through my TBR pile.
While many purchases conclude at Amazon, quite a few originate at Bookbub or from authors’ newsletters. Having started with the Kindle app on a tablet, adding or switching just seems difficult.
Hi, I get a majority of my ebooks from B&N Nook. I started with Nook and have over 23k ebooks in my library shelves. I like keeping series together so I’ve stayed with Nook. I have been moving over to the Kindle app and KU more and more, as my authors I follow mainly release there. I do like being able to create my collections to fit my weird organizational layouts. Thanks again, for organizing your Christmas Facebook party. I collected a lot of free ebooks to try with new authors. I got one of your ebooks for free to try and now I own almost every books you’ve published.
I would love a signed copy of the first book in the Texas series, The Heart of Texas. I love the family you made in that series. It was similar to mine.
Please take some time for yourself now that the holidays and their stresses are about over. I’m thrilled to get your books whenever they come out. You can’t write well when you’re not in a good space. You need to come first for a while, now. Thanks for everything.
Thank you for the chance. I would love a copy of Gift for the Season because I love anthologies. I always discover new and interesting authors in them!
I buy most of my books from Amazon and also have KU. Sometimes I buy from Apple and Smashwords. With the possibility of a free signed book I thought immediately of the Texas series. I adored Riley and Jack. I thought at first I might want the first book but I decided if I won I’d like book 7 Texas Wedding, where it all came together especially with the same sex marriage bill. Your Texas series were one of the first MM genre books I read. Once I read one MM book I was hooked. I very rarely read MF these days. Fingers crossed to win 🤞
Happy new year! I’ve would love Guarding Garrett, I really enjoy your stories. I started reading your books with Single Dad series and they’re amazing!
I love the Harrisburg Raiders series. I really enjoyed reading about Jared and Tennant the most. About how they came together in the first book, their troubles getting the wedding they wanted in the second book about them and how their family was finally complete after the arrival of their new baby. If I had chose of any of your books it would be anyone of Jared and Tennant’s books. Thanks again for the great stories.
I get my books on Amazon (purchased not borrowed). As far as I can tell, I have all your books that are for sale. For a signed physical book, I would have to go with The Heart of Texas.
i love your books and have a surprising amount of them in paperback. But i really loved Cupcakes & Christmas and that would be the book I would choose.
I use apple as that what I a started with and like to keep my series together. Though I understand why authors have moved over to ku I hate that I can’t complete some of the series that I have. At least you release books to all platforms first before moving them over which I really appreciate, so thank you RJ.
I would love a signed copy of the The heart of Texas as it was the first book of yours that I read and has had my hooked ever since.
Happy New Year! Yes this year will be better. I buy 95% of my books through amazon. The other 5% through Smashwords. Like most I do have almost every book in in kindle.
I think Single is my favorite because it was the first one of your books I read. It would be closely followed by Cupcakes and Christmas because I LOVE baking shows…seriously addicted here.
I use amazon a lot because I have KU and it gives me access to books and authors I otherwise wouldn’t have tried. But I also use smashwords when I can.
Love your books! My favorite is the first series I read from you, Changing Lines (Harrisburg Railers series). Although I’d be happy with any book in that series, my ocd will not like it if I don’t start at the beginning!😜 Can’t wait to see your new books this new year!
I buy my books almost except on Amazon. I love your work, so thank you for sharing with us. Love the Hockey series and the Single Dad series. Lancaster Falls was a good read too.
I would love the Christmas Throwaway in german (just can’t remember the title). It’s my to go Christmas book every year (first in English and now in german).
Since I’m at the Philippines, I can only buy at Amazon (but to 90% I read on KU)
Happy New Year! I buy all over, but picked Smashwords as this is where I try and look first. I like to get a copy format that does not tie me to a website’s reading app or device a la Amazon or B&N. The first two books of yours I read were Deefur Dog and New York Christmas, which are still two of my favorites.
I buy most of my books through Amazon. My choice for a paperback would be Montana Sky. It’s the only one I don’t have in that series and I was gonna get it at UKMeet but that was a bust this year!!!
I get most of your books via Smashwords. Otherwise I buy direct from the publishers when I can and via Barnes & Noble if I can’t get them otherwise. I enjoyed the Texas and Montana series, but lately my favorites have been your hockey series with V Locey. I wasn’t that much into hockey, so I got the first in the Harrisburg Raillers series from a sale and it languished on my reader for many months. (Huge TBR, you know!) I finally decided to read it and, BAM, I went and bought every one of all three of the series on Smashwords–AND READ THEM–within the next few weeks. LOL I’m just waiting for School & Rock to come back off Amazon.
As for hard copies, I recently moved and my number of physical books has gone way down. I kind of like the space savings. So I’ll just keep reading the ebooks and let others enjoy the hard copies. But you are generous in all your offers. Thanks for writing such great books!
Hi RJ. I’m predominantly an Amazon buyer, but I use multiple retailers to get the books I want.
Much as I’d treasure a signed paperback, this is not a viable option for me, since it would have to be shipped to South Africa and I guarantee it will never ever get here.
I would be over the moon if I could choose one of your books in kindle format.
My choice would be Christmas Prince.
I’ve been dying to read that one since it was released two years ago.
😢
I mostly use Amazon- and sometimes come across new to me authors on bookbub. I would like book one in your sanctuary series ( best opening sentence ever 😊)
I mostly use Amazon- and sometimes come across new to me authors on bookbub. I would like book one in your sanctuary series ( best opening sentence ever 😊)
Happy New Year RJ. I already own nearly all your books as ebooks, but given the chance to own any in paperback I’d love the Heart of Texas. This series is one of my favourites ever. Stay safe *hugs* K
I try & avoid Amazon as much as possible, I always feel as if I’m being pressured to buy a Kindle & purchase from them, so missing out on new releases from a number of previously favourite authors! Recently started using Kobo when not available from Smashwords as I can download my books from them, otherwise Barnes & Noble. I am a pre-Kindle e-book reader. Your early release of books on Smashwords is much appreciated!!
All the best for the new year. I admit to being new to your books but am very glad I found them. If I am lucky enough to win I would love one of your books which include a single dad, they get to me every time. Thanks.
Take care RJ, we will wait as long as you need! We all need to take better mental health time! Happy New Year 🎆
The single dad series I love. Any would be awesome!
Amy
Thanks for the chance, RJ. I’d read the fantastic End Street series by you and Amber Kell, so naturally I had to check out this wonderful new-to-me author, RJ Scott. The first book I bought was Max and the Prince. I was completely blown away, and of course, I had to by more! I’d love to get an autographed copy of Max and the Prince.
Thank you for the wonderful books you have written. I have read almost all your books. I would have to say the book I would like would be The Heart of Texas since that wasthe very first book of yours that I read. Still read if you must know. I have the complete series on my Kindle as well as several other series of yours.
I have most of these 🙂 But I think my favorite was the Lancaster Falls series, so I’d love a copy of any of those.
And I get a lot of books from Smashwords as well – actually prefer there over Amazon (except for KU books), but the format isn’t always available.
I mostly buy my books from Smashwords, Kobo, direct from the publisher, or direct from the author. I do not Zon. I missed Cupcakes and Christmas, so I’d love that.
I was always a big fan of printed books, having purchased many hundreds at the library sales where I formerly lived for 15 years. Now it’s costing me a fortune to keep those books in storage until I can make other arrangements. In the meantime I have purchased a Kindle and discovered the joys an e-reader.
One of the posts mentioned “The Christmas Throwaway” as their favorite book. It is also mine. I purchased the print copy some years ago and subsequently the Kindle version After reading the other post I was inspired to read the Kindle version again, this evening. Nice way to spend New Year’s Eve!
Happy New Year!
I buy from Smashwords a lot. Books are often cheaper there, than on Amazon Kindle. And I also became tired of authors offering a free or discounted book, in their newsletters, only to discover it only applies to the US Kindle store. I also use KU, a lot, too.
I get most of my books from Amazon using Kindle Unlimited. I love the Harrisburg Raiders series and love any books in this genre about any sport so any one of those. I have approximately 50,000 ebooks and probably another 1000 physical copies from all different sites but today I mainly read on my iPad using the Kindle app. I have probably 100 physical books that I would never get rid off but I do have ebook copies in case I want to read them. My three favourites are
1. An autographed copy of Chapter House Dune byFrank Herbert,
2. An autographed copy of Dead Reckoning by Charlene Harris
3. A vintage copy of Ivanhoe by Sir Walter Scott
This is such a great surprise to wake up to on the first day of the year. The year that hopefully will bring us much needed relieve. So, who is gonna take the vaccine? And if not, why wouldn’t you?
RJ, thanks for this opportunity. If I’m picked I would like to have “All That Remains” .
Wishing y’all a very healthy, safe and amazing 2021!! Happy New Year! 😉
Hi i get the majority of my books through Amazon KU. Smashwords is the secondary source. I love all your books the only ones i havent read yet are Lancaster Falls series.
I Loved the Lancaster Falls series. My daughter lives in York, PA! Also really well written. I buy my books 50/50 Dreamspinner press and Amazon (for what I can not get on Dreamspinner).
I usually buy my books from Amazon because I’m lazy and it’s so easy to just click and it downloads to my Kindle. I’d love to win a copy of the Christmas Throw Away. It’s the book that made me fall in love with your writing.
I always get my books from Amazon and KU. I loved the Lancaster falls series, I didn’t have a clue until the end of who did it ,so I encouraged the girls at work to read them to see if they knew (we have a group who share the good books we read). I also love the Railers books, and to see Tennent and Jarard get the baby they wanted was heart warming. x
I buy through Amazon even though I despise the company and its founder. But I share the books with my husband and “the Evil Empire “ makes that easy and has a much wider selection. If anyone knows a good alternative I’m open to suggestions. Burch.Bryant@icloud.com.
Any book you’ve written is great! I’ve got most of them in ebook, and have to admit that more than half my ebooks are from Amazon, if only because of the commodity.. However, I have a rather large number of books from kobo, and am starting to use smashwords more and more. Not counting the arcs an such from booksprout, bookfunnel, etc.
I mainly buy books for my kindle from Amazon but anything I think will be a classic I buy in paperback or hardback as well.
I own more or less everything RJ has written and I am partial to the Lancaster trilogy which is on par with Agatha Christie I think – so well written. My other favourites are the Texas series. Who doesn’t love a cowboy?! Riley and jack are amongst my absolute favourites couples.
Keep writing RJ – your books have helped me stay sane during 2020!
I’m a kindle reader so mainly Amazon. For me it was a choice between books from two series, the Texas series which was the first books which I read by you and I loved because they followed the same characters and so many gay novels seem to shift leads with each books. The characters had a real chance to develop and to come to care for them over the series. However in the end the choice would be “All That Remains” for the story ark and the characters and the genre mix.
Most I get are Amazon and paperback… I have most of your books as you were one of my very first M/M authors. I would love any book of yours signed but would like you to choose it😍🥰 Cheers to a better year
I read paperback or kindle books . I am new to you as a writer so anyone you would suggest for me to start with would be great and if its a signed copy thats even better !!
I get most of my books through Amazon. I still prefer print books but also use Kindle format since they take up less space LOL. I would love to win a copy of Promise in your Single Dads series; really loved Ash in Single!

I get most of my books through Amazon. I still prefer print books but also use Kindle format since they take up less space LOL. I would love to win a copy of Promise in your Single Dads series; really loved Ash in Single!

I’d love a signed copy of All That Remains since I spent so much time working on the series with you!
