David Lampe, on the QRFFC FB page, asked “What made you decide to become a writer?”
I thought I would post about it here, because it got me thinking. My answer was, and always will be:
I’m not sure I ever decided to be a writer, it just *is* and I just *am*.
I have always written stories, and when I didn’t have paper and pen I would just think up stories. I discovered fan fiction back in 2007, started writing a few things, and then got hooked. I am lucky enough that writing is my full time career now, and I couldn’t be happier doing exactly the thing I want to do.
My first *published* novel was Oracle, which is a paranormal, mystery, romance, happy ever after… I loved the book, and wrote a sequel to it as well… Soon after that was The Christmas Throwaway and The Heart of Texas…
I’ve never looked back!
