“This is all your fucking fault old man,” I snapped at the picture hanging over the desk, an unsmiling Tudor Barrera—the previous owner of Red Cars Automotive- staring back at me with just a hint of fuck you. He might have been the one who showed me I could be safe, but he also tied me to this place, and I loved it, but hated with equal passion. He always told me that if I counted the small change then the big money added up, an adage I lived by now. Used to be I was all about the big payouts, a thousand for stealing and delivering on this car, two thousand on another, until I tried to steal one of his and my world shifted.
It didn’t go so well for me then, and now, for my sins I was owner of this place, and along with that legal crap came all this shit, and Tudor fucking knew I’d get myself in a mess. Hell, he’d be laughing in his grave if he knew how pissed off i was.
“Lo!” Enzo shouted again, and I snapped as he knew I would.
“Fuck off!”
Just finished Single and thought it was FANTASTIC!!! Can´t wait to read the rest of the series! Dan From Minnesota
