I used to ski regularly, and we went on several ski vacations. Double Black Diamonds starts with Jordan skiing down a run that is far above his abilities. Confession time, I tried that run once…only once. Let’s just say I realized very fast that I wasn’t ready for it. A couple of times when we were skiing at different resorts there was an event and the giant slalom course was set up so we skied it. They make it look so easy, I can’t even describe how fast they must be going, but seeing them race in person gave me even more appreciation for the sport. I still love watching the ski events even if I haven’t skied for years.
Double Black Diamonds
When Jordan James goes on a holiday ski vacation with his friend Dave to Park City, Utah, he’s excited for some time off from work, and a few days of skiing. After Dave skies off without him, leaving him at the top of a run that is far beyond his skill level, Jordan takes a chance. When things go bad fast, he’s left with little choice but to call for help.
Trace Griffin has worked for the ski patrol at Park City for the past few years. He enjoys the freedom it gives him, the fact that he’s on the mountain all day, and helping people is a big part of who he is. When a call comes in to ski patrol, about a skier in trouble at the top of the mountain, he doesn’t hesitate. When he finds Jordan injured and bordering on hypothermia he gets right to work and with help from his partner, they rush him down the mountain.
Neither Trace nor Jordan were looking for love when they met, but maybe an unfortunate break will give each of them a chance to find the love they’ve both craved.

Jennifer Shannon says
Snowboarding. You’re supposed to fall forward and I couldn’t make myself do that, as I need to protect my chronically sore hands all the time. I then hurt my knee after a few tries and just gave up after that.
Alyson says
Skating is not for me. Maybe I’ll try again in a few years, but I don’t fancy looking like a newborn baby giraffe.
Amy Casey says
I love to roller skate so I figured ice skating can’t be too hard….wrong and my elbows, knees, back and ankles said never again 😂 but it’s fun to watch!
Trix says
I’m pretty klutzy, so I’d say most of ‘em!
Brooks says
I tried ice skating once. I was so proud of myself that I didn’t fall, but I’m pretty sure it was an anomaly that I was able to balance like that for any amount of time.
Collyn says
Water skiing. I could not keep my feet in front of me, so never even got to really try it. I kept floating on to my stomach.
Belinda says
Roller blading. Roller skating was pretty easy so I figured it can’t be that hard. Lol. Welp I fell landed on my wrist & the bruise from halfway up my hand to mid forearm, skinned knees & bruised pride later I realized it’s a lot harder then roller skating
Ginger Connatser says
Roller skating
Sherry Rivera says
Roller skating. I actually liked ice skating but not roller skating.
Paul says
Roller skating. I could ice skate great but just couldn’t get the hang of roller skating.
Mai Boudwin says
Jogging. I can walk 5k anytime, but when I think of jogging, my feet hurt. They have a mind of their own.
Diane Fair says
Skiing. The only ski’s I had access to, were on the farm where I grew up, and were at least 7 feet long. I was less than 5 feet tall at the time.
Needless to say…they arrived at the bottom of the hill long before I did!
Stephanie Frost says
Go U.S.A. !
Sherri says
Pretty much all of them I have no sense of balance, so any sport that requires me off my feet on on something else is a big no. Also no eye hand coordination so any sport that requires accuracy of aim is also a hard no.
Dee says
Skiing. My knees did not appreciate me at all.
Ken Cook says
Body surfing. Years back I ventured into rough wave in Puerto Vallarta and one punched me into the sand below, damaging my shoulder.
Donna M. says
Ice skating. I like the idea of doing it, but I am horrible at it. I spend my time falling instead of actually skating.
Linda says
Skiing or any kind of skating.
Laurel says
Ice skating love to watch it but I sucked at it when I tried it. Lol
Kathy J in Ellicott City says
I hate to say it, but I am extremely clumsy, so basically any sport other than walking is not for me. The one sport I have found that I can actually do is golf, it is a lot of walking. I am not good, but I have not hurt myself as of yet.
Marion says
Downhill skiing. I tried numerous times but it just isn’t my thing. I spent more time sliding down the hill on my back than I did standing up! I still love cross country skiing but no more downhill for me. 🎿
Serena E says
Hockey – absolutely hated it at school but a friend persuaded me to try it again as an adult “It’s so different from when you had to play at school, you’ll have a great time!” Nope! Still hated it and ended up cold, wet, muddy and covered in bruises.
Cathy Brockman says
skating. I fell and jammed my wrist and thumb.
But I’m not good at many sports at all.
