Ghost in the Stone – Rievaulx Abbey

This place, Rievaulx Abbey, North Yorkshire, is one of the most stunning and haunting places I have ever visited. Incredibly peaceful and inspirational for a ghost story… I have this whole plot bunny about a stonemason sent to work on a part of the building exposed by erosion, centered around what he finds behind the loose stones.
