Day 2 - Lane Hayes
Happy Holidays! I’m so thrilled to take part in RJ’s Advent Calendar celebration this year. I love the holiday season. My house is decorated to the nines with a ginormous wreath on my front door, a snow globe Christmas collection, a twinkling tree, and poinsettias. Of course, I also have a hodgepodge of sentimental knickknacks and ornaments my grown children made when they were kids. LOL Gotta have a bit of everything!
Over the years, I’ve written quite a few Christmas shorts as well as four published holiday-themed novellas, Leaning Into a Wish, Stick to the Script, Out for the Holidays, and my brand new release set in my jock/geek world, The Holiday List. I love the blend of sophistication mixed with family/friend mayhem and I do my best to incorporate that spirit in every story. That small peek into other worlds during a joyful season never fails to make me smile.
Wishing you a happy holiday filled with laughter, love, and joy,
Lane Hayes xo
The Holiday List
Take a peek at my newest holiday book, The Holiday List.
The Holiday List (November 30) – mybook.to/The-Holiday-List
The Mars maestro, the single dad, and a wish list…
Chet-
Boy, did I get lucky! Finding a living situation with a houseful of passionate scientists just before the holidays is ideal in every possible way. As the newest member of the Script Club, I feel it’s important to step up and tackle the to-do list my friends would prefer to avoid. Item one, addressing the tutoring request from the neighborhood hottie slash single dad on the next block. I’ve got this!
Or do I?
Handsome, older sporty gentlemen intimidate me. And this one doesn’t like the holidays. Who says that? This may be a daunting task.
Sam-
The geeks down the street can save the day. I have a sprained shoulder and no idea how to safely do any of the science experiments my son wants to try. If I can talk the Mars dude into helping me, I’ll be set. Of course, he wants to bring some holiday cheer too. Not sure what to think about that, but desperate times call for desperate measures. And I can’t deny the science guy is very charming…in a quirky way.
Don’t quote me, but maybe this holiday elf with his thick glasses and a mile-long list might be exactly I need.
The Holiday List is an MM bisexual, geek/jock romance with a holiday twist featuring a loveable scientist and a single dad who’s probably on the naughty list!
