Day 10 - Emma Jay
I LOVE Christmas, but not all of it. I hate shopping. I can’t stand the ‘interactive’ games like charades or karaoke. And I always need at least a couple of sherries before tackling stuffing the turkey on Christmas morning.
The festive season should be all about comfort and joy, but in reality, there is often a little angst mixed in, especially for Christmas fairies.

address and mail all my cards (which include little handmade paper ornaments as gifts) I’ve almost made the ornaments, even stamp-decorated the cards. Making sure all the addresses are right and getting them in the mail doesn’t sound fun. I used to hand deliver most of them, but I’m not getting out since covid.

I’d say decorate the exterior of the house for the holidays (we don’t), but it’s waay too cold here for a fairy in an apron! Cleaning services would be fantastic, however!

Protect my parents’ house from my puppy and cat. It’s not pet proof, and I doubt I’ll get to sit down for more than 10 minutes without having to take something out of puppy’s mouth or apologizing for something they have gotten into..
Cleaning the kitchen after our big family lunch, we are a lot of people and my mom cooks like we are even more, so you need to do lots of dishes and pans, pots…
Oh if they good do the big deep clean that happens before all my decs go up, I would love them forever!

getting all my baking done…this year had been a hard one with various medical issues, and I could use a hand.
Make it snow. The good snow, not the kind that freezes over and you can’t play. And if he can magic up a small hill with easy climbable steps so I don’t have to tax myself and risk a migraine and can go down that hill as much as I want, all the better! He has to also put on clothes though bc it would be cold outside, and he has to join me so I have someone to laugh with.

I have a lot of stuff still in boxes that need to be sorted. There are pictures to be hung, books to be dusted, ceiling fan to be cleaned. If they’re tech savvy, I need computer help and my CD player is acting up. After that, a deep cleaning, even moving the fridge and stove. Then on to year end taxes and baking.
Then we can relax and watch holiday movies and listen to Christmas music, cuddling on the couch.
I suck at decorating so maybe they could do a better job at it.

I’m not sure. I would say to just keep me company. And probably help me with the cleaning… yeah… lol… that’s definitely something I never look forward to during or after the holiday craze. lol
I’d want him to watch Claymation Christmas special with me, in my bed, while feeding me chocolates from a box of Whitman’s Sampler <3
I would be happy to have a Christmas fairy clean the house and do any garden work that needs doing.
