The Cotswolds are only 50 miles from where I live and is one of my favorite places to visit and stay. Tons of beautiful tiny villages and stately homes that I could spend days exploring.
My personal highlights are The Slaughters and Castle Combe
The Slaughters is the small village that is the inspiration for The Summer House, a Manor House, a pub, a tight community, and a story all about how the Veterinarian and the Aristocrat fall in love 🙂  Bourton on the Water is the inspiration for the town local to the village with the shops and the vet’s practise – another stunning place which also appears as Seb’s hometown in Across The Pond (Arizona Raptors 2)
“… The Cotswolds is an area in south central and south west England comprising the Cotswold Hills, a range of rolling hills that rise from the meadows of the upper Thames to an escarpment, known as the Cotswold Edge, above the Severn Valley and Evesham Vale. Designated as an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty (AONB) in 1966, the Cotswolds covers 787 square miles (2,040 km2) and is the second largest protected landscape in England …”
The Summer House
A rich playboy who lives for the now, and a Veterinarian who is ruled by his past, try to find a future together that allows for love.
Ashby Sterling-Haynes, the youngest son of a titled family, has had a lot of hookups but has never found someone worth keeping. When he meets introverted Veterinarian, Connor Lawson, he realizes this could be the man he's been waiting for.
Connor has a painful past and no room for an entitled rich guy in his future. Ashby is everything that Connor dislikes in a man and is way too sexy to be anything but a disruption to Connor’s peaceful life.
Both men refuse to believe in love for different reasons. Until they meet each other and a future together becomes real.
