My favorite line from a movie is, "Inside a snowflake like the one on your sleeve, there happened a story you must see to believe," from 'The Grinch'. I believe you asked that first?
As for movie, my favorite is 'The Santa Claus' with Tim Allen. It personifies all that is Santa…carried within our own hearts.

I am very excited to read this! I love Christmas movies so this is a very hard choice. It is definitely between Nestor the Long-Eared Christmas Donkey and Annabelle's Wish! Watching both has become a holiday tradition in my family.

I have never cared for Christmas(music, movies or decorations), but for some reason I have to watch the original Rudolph the Red Nosed Reindeer & the original Frosty the Snowman at least one time during the holiday. I guess it's a good thing they still have a handful of originals that they play every year.

Thanks for the nice short story. One of my fav movies: All Mine to Give. It's not usually listed as Christmas, but I saw it at Christmas time years ago growing up and it ends on Christmas day. It's about a frontier family, the kids end up orphaned, and have to find homes for each other on Christmas day. The closing scene always tears me up – the eldest son stands with his baby sister in his arms, in the falling snow at a doorway, asking the woman, "Please, ma'am, I was wondering if you'd care to have my sister." – Purple Reader,
