Hi there, I’m afraid I’m an Amazon book shopper. My Kindle is loaded with around 3000 books and counting!
But recently I took part in a local Blind Book Date sale. The person takes gently used books, Wraps them beautifully, gives them a little sticker listing their genres and Goodreads ratings, and sells them at the local ice cream parlor. Yum, and aahhh… Love me some books!!! And she includes LGBTQ books in her offerings, yippee!
I love to support my local independent bookstore as much as possible, but getting there is a bit of a hassle so I’m afraid I buy my books on Amazon far more than I wish I did!
I wish you’d sell at Smashwords so I could get my books in PDF format so I could listen to them. 🙁 Sadly, most of my fave authors are only doing Amazon, Kobo, etc. My eyesight is deteriorating at a crazy rate.
I but mine 99% of Amazon, but also the grocery store like Asda and Tesco. But when I can I love to grab signed copies of the authors website. Happy Holidays
like many of the respondents, I get the bulk of my ebooks at Amazon, as the ‘zon keeps track of my purchases so I don’t duplicate.
In addition, I’ll buy an occassional book at ProlificWorks; and I do download free BookFunnel offers from time to time.
I buy many on Amazon; that’s where many of the authors I enjoy sell their works. Kindle app helps me keep track of books as well. I prefer Smashwords when possible, especially since they can now be uploaded to my Kindle app, easier to read on my phone.
I mostly get my books from Amazon
I usually purchase from Amazon but have occasionally purchased direct from an author.

New books I primarily get from Amazon. I love to go thrift store shopping and buy used books there. I also borrow books from two nearby libraries.

Hello!
I buy probably 95% of my books digitally through Amazon, and the other 5% on Smashwords 😊.
