Als ihm angeboten wird, eines der schlechtesten Teams der Liga zu einem zukünftigen Mitbewerber um den Cup umzubauen, kann Rowen sich diese Gelegenheit nicht entgehen lassen. Noch nie in seinen zwanzig Jahren Hockey hat er ein Team gesehen, das so schlecht geführt wurde oder Spieler, die so voller Feindseligkeit und Engstirnigkeit sind. Aber etwas an diesem Team und dieser Stadt überzeugt ihn, seine Ärmel hochzukrempeln und anzufangen, alles auseinanderzunehmen. Wenn nur Mark, einer der drei Geschwister, denen die Raptors jetzt gehören, nicht so verdammt stur und doch so verdammt reizvoll wäre, könnte sein Job leichter sein. Es sieht nicht so aus, als ob einer von beiden nachgeben möchte, aber eine Nacht in einem dunklen, abseits gelegenen Hotel verändert alles.

Bei den Olympischen Winterspielen für ihr Land anzutreten, ist die größte Ehre, doch als Familienmitglieder zu Rivalen werden und eine dunkle Person aus der Vergangenheit in Beijing auftaucht, steigen die Spannungen und plötzlich geht es nicht mehr nur um Hockey.

Jared möchte Gold für sein Land und seinen Sohn gewinnen, aber er wäre so stolz, wenn Ten gewinnen würde. Er ist verwirrt und besorgt, und als ein Gesicht aus ihrer Vergangenheit auftaucht, um zu spielen, ist er außer sich vor Wut.

Für Team USA ausgewählt zu werden, ist eines der Dinge, von denen Tennant als kleiner Junge geträumt hat. All seine anderen Aspirationen sind durch harte Arbeit, Entschlossenheit und reines Talent wahr geworden. Jetzt wird er sein Land vor der Welt vertreten und der Druck beginnt, sich aufzubauen. Er hat auch gerade wieder einen verhassten Rivalen aus einer dunklen Phase seines Lebens getroffen. Dazu noch die Bürde, gegen seinen Ehemann und Stiefsohn antreten zu müssen und Ten verspürt den Drang, perfekt zu sein.

Es gibt nicht viel, das Tennant Rowe nicht erreicht hat und alles, bevor er dreißig geworden ist. Coast to Coast (Raptors 1)

He’s turned even the worst of companies around, but faced with the challenge of improving the reputation of a hockey team that everyone seems to hate, he knows his work is cut out for him.

Focus is key, but that is easier said than done when Seb is sent into a tailspin by the intriguing Alejandro. Seb’s entire marketing plan hinges on making Alex a poster boy for equality and fair play. But with Alex’s utter dedication to the game, and his dark secretive eyes, the gorgeous Alex is stubborn, opinionated, doesn’t want any part of being the team focus, and worst of all, doesn't appear to like Seb at all. It takes everything that Seb has to keep his hands off of Alex, but things get out of hand and Seb’s life might never be the same again.

As the Raptors struggle to rebuild not only their team but their core values, Alex finds himself drawn to one of the owner’s friends, a tall, lanky Brit with the face of an angel and an accent and attitude that bewitches and befuddles him. Sebastian is everything he thought he would never be attracted to but he can’t push the sexy, older, fun-loving man out of his thoughts. If ever there were a man he would not be able to take home to his parents - not that he can bring a man home since he is deeply closeted -  it’s Sebastian, but desire knows no socioeconomic, age, or international borders.
