Ein heißer Sommer zusammen kann niemals genug sein.
Stanislav „Stan“ Lyamin ist glücklich bei den Railers. Der riesige Goalie ist sehr beliebt, wird respektiert und hat sich ein Heim geschaffen, auch wenn dieses Heim nur ihn, seine Katze und seine wachsende Pokémon Kartensammlung beherbergt. Stan ist das so lieber. Er hat letzten Sommer bei einer heimlichen Affäre sein Herz einem Mann gegeben und dieser Mann hat ihn verlassen, Stan am Boden zerstört zurückgelassen. Jetzt ist Erik wieder in seinem Leben und er hat denselben tumultartigen Effekt auf Stans Herz wie schon zuvor. Dieses Mal sind es nicht nur ein zum Küssen einladender Mund und süße blonde Locken, die Erik mit nach Harrisburg gebracht hat, es gibt auch eine zukünftige Ex-Frau und ein niedliches Baby. Trotz des Schwurs, den Stan geleistet hat, Erik für immer zu hassen, stellt er fest, dass es immer schwieriger wird, sich abzuwenden.

Warten auf Weihnachten
Es fing als Kinder an, die voller Glitter waren und wurde zu Jahren der Freundschaft. Die Geschichte von Cody und Regen und dass es sich lohnt, auf die besten Dinge im Leben zu warten.
Cody hat Regen kennengelernt, als sie drei und mit Glitter bedeckt waren, nachdem ein Bastelprojekt für Weihnachten schrecklich schief gelaufen ist. Nachdem sie sich mit dem Geschmack von Kleber im Mund nähergekommen waren und die ganze Schokolade am Baum gegessen hatten, wurden sie beste Freunde. Sie wuchsen zusammen in einer kleinen kanadischen Stadt in der Nähe von Calgary auf, spielten im Chipmunks Kinder-Hockey-Team und teilten ihre Leidenschaft für die Calgary Cobras und Schokolade. Während Cody zu Hause blieb, auf ein College in der Nähe ging und Lehrer wurde, schlug Regen einen anderen Weg ein.
Regen und Cody. Ihre Namen waren über die Jahre so unzertrennlich geworden wie sie beide selbst. In guten wie in schlechten Zeiten standen die beiden Jungen immer zueinander und waren sich so nahe wie Brüder. Als aus den Jungen Männer wurden, gab das Leben sein Bestes, sie voneinander zu trennen, schickte Regen nach LA, um dort professionell Hockey zu spielen, während Cody in Kanada blieb und dort seinen Traum, Lehrer zu werden verwirklichte. Doch auch mit tausenden Kilometern zwischen ihnen, blieben Regen und Cody beste Freunde.

Sa vie de solitaire s’apprête à s’achever quand Bryan Delaney, le nouveau gardien remplaçant des Railers, se pointe dans sa boutique à la recherche d’un artiste pour son casque. Gatlin voit une certaine tristesse dans ses yeux et découvre qu’il est un peu plus que sous le charme de ce nouveau joueur.
Bryan Delaney a quitté la maison à quinze ans pour vivre en famille d’accueil. Il aurait simplement espéré pouvoir échapper à son père alcoolique et à sa mère pieuse plus tôt. Lorsqu’il signe un contrat avec les Raptors d’Arizona, il trouve une nouvelle famille et sa première histoire d’amour, même si la relation est marquée par la violence.
Être transféré chez les Railers est un choc pour lui, mais cette équipe ne ressemble en rien à celle pour qui il a joué précédemment et ses coéquipiers semblent vraiment tenir à lui. Ce n’est que lorsqu’il rencontre Gatlin, l’artiste avec qui il partage l’amour de la musique et du hockey, qu’il se rend compte de l’aide dont il a besoin pour échapper à son passé.
