In March 2015 life changed. I decided I’d had enough of the 9 – 5 treadmill and the daily commute. Changes needed to happen, and fast. In a fit of what seemed like madness (but ended up being the sanest thing I’ve ever done) I threw in my day job in the sexy and exciting world of HR (erm, yeah) to write full-time. In May 2015 I published my first book, Imperfect, and since then I’ve published three others and am currently working on a fifth. I write contemporary UK based MM romance, but for me romance doesn’t mean fluff, sweetness and light and more soppiness than you can shake a stick at. I write angst, with an extra serving of angst on the side. And angst for dessert. Call me a sadist if you must, but I love to conjure up complex, difficult men and then put them through the emotional wringer. Yes, they get their HEA but they have to suffer for it. Poor, poor boys.
the other broken and traumatised. How will a chance meeting in a crowded café
change both their lives forever?
Confident and cocksure, there’s no question that Josh Cooper is an alpha male.
With looks, money and a high-flying City career, he’s got it all. Except that
he hasn’t. Trapped in an increasingly claustrophobic relationship, he seeks
escape in a series of meaningless and anonymous sexual encounters.
Recovering from a violent past that has left him emotionally scarred, all Alex
Fulbright wants to do is to live a quiet life as he slowly recovers and learns
how to put his painful history behind him.
From tentative beginnings, Josh and Alex eventually come to find the love with
each other that neither thought they would ever have. But life isn’t perfect,
and neither man is quite who he seems. Both have secrets and when these are
exposed and dragged into the open, the life they had planned to build together
is blown apart, leaving their happy ever after no longer the certainty it was.
Connection (book #1)
There has never been a time when Rick Taylor hasn't been out and proud. Hiding
who he is and blending in is not an option as Rick lives his life by the mantra
out and loud, stand out in a crowd. He's poster boy gay with a capital G
and that's not going to change – for anybody.
When he accidently outed himself, Matt Connell’s life went into freefall. Cut
adrift from his family and the life he knew, Matt carries a ton-weight of
emotional baggage as he takes his first faltering steps towards living his life
as an out gay man.
Neither should be the man the other is looking for, but when Rick opens his
door to the cocky plumber with the beautiful green eyes on a freezing January
morning, he knows his life will never be the same again.
Against every danger light that flashes, every siren that screams STOP! and
every dire warning from friends and family, Rick and Matt throw themselves into
a passionate and all-consuming love affair. But as cracks start to appear in
the life they are striving to build together, both are forced to ask the
question: can love on its own ever be enough?
Story of Love (book #2)
Lorrimer-Grant's ground rules have always kept them safe – until now.
Getting down and dirty with anonymous hook-ups is a game Archie and Zack have
always played. It keeps life fresh and exciting and everybody's having fun.
Aren't they?
Archie isn't. The hook-ups stopped being fun long ago. It's a game he wishes
he'd never started and he wants to stop playing. Now. Right now.
The men keep Zack's fear at bay. Fear that without them, Archie will realise
Zack alone will never be enough to make him truly happy.
Terry Franklin isn't a hook-up. He's far more dangerous, and Archie is
determined to do whatever it takes to keep the man out of their bed and out of
their life.
Where Archie sees a threat, Zack sees a kindred spirit. Terry is the lifeline
Zack never knew he needed, but this lifeline could mean the death of him and Archie…
& Jude (book #1)
for your best friend to be your lover.
For Danny Spears, sex is like fast food: cheap, convenient and ultimately
unfulfilling. There’s only one man he really wants and that’s his best friend,
Jude Greenwood. That’s never going to happen. As far as Jude’s concerned
Danny’s not only his oldest and closest friend, he’s the big brother he never
had. The trouble is, they’re no longer boys and Danny’s feelings for Jude are
anything but brotherly.
Falling for one dead-end man after another in his search of his happy ever
after, the only thing Jude ends up with is a broken heart and shattered dreams.
Always there to pick him up and make things better, Danny could be Jude’s
perfect man. There’s one big stumbling block: Danny doesn’t do boyfriends or
relationships. Any fantasy Jude has about them ever getting together will have
to remain just that – a fantasy.
A passionate kiss leads to a night together that was never meant to happen, and
the shockwaves rock them both. Should they seize the chance to take their lives
in a direction neither dreamed possible? But the stakes are high, and it takes
courage to cross the line from friends to lovers. If they take that step,
there’s no going back for either of them. Their lives will change forever, but
will it be for better or worse?
Muffin rustling, a thief caught in the act and an offer that seems too good to
be true, it’s all happening in a steamy little café tucked away in a Soho back
street!
