It's Wednesday, it's the Hump Day Interview, it's Sarina Bowen…
How many unpublished and half-finished books do you have?
25, about to be 26 published works in English, a handful or so in non-English languages, and just enough half-finished books to keep me motivated 😉
What is the most difficult part of your artistic process?
The editing part. When you go through and see how the story works, you often times have to change things, or cut out entire scenes. The latter makes me teary.
How do you keep characters consistent through a story? Do you write out extensive character bibles?
I think anyone who writes a series where you see the same characters throughout probably has a book of sorts. The hard part is keeping it updated as characters develop from book to book.
What is your writing Kryptonite?
Less Kryptonite, more distraction: social media. I think it’s the curse of most people who work from home, especially if it involves a computer. When you’re always connected it’s easy to get sidetracked.
What's your favorite childhood book?
Ballet Shoes by Noel Streatfield
What's your favourite TV Show and why?
The Marvelous Mrs. Maisel because it's a dialogue about artistic risk taking.

A sexy new standalone from USA Today bestseller Sarina Bowen.
You’d think a billion dollars, a professional hockey team and a six-bedroom mansion on the Promenade would satisfy a guy. You’d be wrong.
For seven years Rebecca has brightened my office with her wit and her smile. She manages both my hockey team and my sanity. I don’t know when I started waking in the night, craving her. All I know is that one whiff of her perfume ruins my concentration. And her laugh makes me hard.
When Rebecca gets hurt, I step in to help. It’s what friends do. But what friends don’t do is rip off each others’ clothes for a single, wild night together.
Now she’s avoiding me. She says we’re too different, and it can never happen again. So why can’t we keep our hands off each other?
